I know I’m sounding like a smart-alecky guy now, but graff started with the tag. Back in the days piecing was difficult and to hit the city the tag was all you had to stand out with so the guys with wicked typography were the kings – I’ll will always remember the Tags of Keno (R.I.P) – he was the King of tagging in my city!
